Refund & cancellation policy
How deposits, cancellations, and rescheduling work for Dev Layer Grid audit engagements.
Scope
This policy applies to professional audit and review engagements with Dev Layer Grid. This website does not sell physical goods, software licences, or self-serve digital products.
Deposit eligibility
When an engagement letter requires a deposit (typically 30% for fees above 100,000 THB), the deposit reserves the fieldwork window. Deposits are credited against the final invoice.
Full refund of deposit
A full deposit refund is available if you cancel in writing at least 10 business days before the agreed fieldwork start date and we have not yet begun substantive testing or received confidential exports that required processing.
Partial refund
Cancellations between 3 and 9 business days before fieldwork start receive a 50% deposit refund, reflecting preparation already completed (checklist design, staffing hold).
Non-refundable situations
- Cancellations fewer than 3 business days before fieldwork start
- Deposits where export processing or sample selection has already begun
- Fees for workstreams already delivered (draft or final findings packs)
- Time spent on-site or in scheduled remote sessions that you miss without 24 hours’ notice (treated as a no-show for that day)
Work already started
If fieldwork has started and you terminate the engagement, you owe fees for time incurred at the rates in the engagement letter, with the deposit applied. Unused deposit balance, if any, is returned within 14 business days.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once without penalty if you give at least 5 business days’ notice and an alternative window within 60 days is available. Further reschedules may incur a scheduling fee stated in the engagement letter.
Refund method & timing
Approved refunds are returned by bank transfer to the original payer within 14 business days of written approval. We do not reverse funds to unrelated third-party accounts.
How to request a refund or cancellation
Email info@devlayergrid.digital with your engagement reference, reason, and preferred bank details for any refund due. You may also call +66 76 555 649. We confirm receipt within two business days.
Exceptions
If Dev Layer Grid cancels for reasons within our control (for example, illness without available cover), you may choose a full deposit refund or a priority reschedule.
