Cookies
What cookies this site uses, why they exist, and how you can accept or reject optional ones.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences or understand traffic patterns.
How we use cookies
Dev Layer Grid uses essential cookies (or local storage equivalents) to remember your cookie consent choice so the banner does not reappear every visit. If you accept analytics, we may use optional analytics cookies to see aggregate page views. Rejecting optional cookies does not block access to audit information, contact forms, or other site features.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
devlayergrid_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject choice for the cookie banner | 1 year (localStorage) | Dev Layer Grid |
_ga | Distinguishes visitors for aggregate analytics (only if accepted) | 2 years | Google Analytics (if enabled) |
_ga_* | Persists analytics session state (only if accepted) | 2 years | Google Analytics (if enabled) |
Essential consent storage is implemented via localStorage under the key above rather than a third-party cookie. Analytics cookies appear only after Accept and only if analytics is configured for the deployment.
Managing cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can clear site data in your browser settings to remove the stored choice; the banner will appear again on your next visit. Browser controls also let you block or delete third-party cookies.
Third-party cookies
If analytics is active and accepted, the analytics provider may set its own cookies subject to its privacy policy. See also our privacy notice.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting analytics does not affect requesting an audit, reading fees, or viewing findings examples. Only optional measurement is affected. Blocking all site storage may cause the consent banner to reappear each session.
